This weekend, the 18th to be more specific, Mary Fitzgerald Square will come alive for the Nelson Mandela Day Celebrations. The day will honour and celebrate Nelson Mandela in true style and citizens all over the globe have been encouraged to take 67 minutes out of our busy schedules, to do any form of community work. The significance of 67? It represents 67 years of uninterrupted and selfless service in the course of his extraordinary life, to the people of South Africa and the world.
Here are some of the artists you can expect to see on stage: Taliphani (Venda Dance),T.K Dancers ( Tsonga Dance), Sechaba, Winnie Khumalo ,RJ Benjamin ,Chommie, Arthur, Nhlanhla Nciza, Zamajobe, Kwela Tebza, Jonas Gwagwa, Kunle Ayo (Nigeria), DJ Sbu, Stoan Seate, Florence Masebe, Meshack Mavuso.
