Dickies wants to know what makes you tough

Today I’m attempting to prove how tough I am or rather how demanding life can be in my industry. There are a lot of misconceptions about being in the entertainment industry I tell ya. Yes there are perks like getting to travel to different parts of the country and the globe, interviewing some of the biggest names in the game, being invited to some awesome parties etc. What a lot of people don’t realize is that you’re often by yourself when you travel, you’re not there for weeks on end, you’re in and out and with time differences, that can be hard. Talent can be difficult at times and the parties often happen after normal work hours. So when you hold down a day job and you’re expected to get stories, interviews from launches and events, it can get tiring to say the least. Having said that, I do love what I do and I would only change it for one other profession, but that aint happening at this point.

Right, so that’s the background to what I do in general. I’ve been asked to participate in a really cool campaign for Dickies 847. The peops at Dickies want to know what makes both you and I tough and they’re recognizing us hardworking guys. What are some of your daily challenges and the rewards that come with your profession or lifestyle. Share your story by visiting www.847strong.co.za or www.847strong.mobi.  By sharing your story you could win yourself a personalized pair of Dickies 847s.

Today I’m wearing my navy 847s and I’ll be documenting all the day in all its madness. Trust me it’s crazy already and it’s only going to get more insane. Stay tuned for more on that tomorrow and guys, be sure to get involved in this campaign.
