Brands continue to use her to grow their respective brands and in turn, the Bonang brand continues to grow bigger, better and brighter. It’s incredible to watch such a young, talented woman score all these major deals and accolades and the latest one she can add to her name is with beauty house Revlon. Matheba was named as the South African ambassador yesterday, joining the likes of Halle Berry, Emma Stone and Olivia Wilde.

Lights, Camera, Action! The red carpet was rolled out; paparazzi camera flashes came from all directions! It was truly an event worthy of Hollywood Royalty. A historic milestone for the cosmetic giant, Bonang Matheba was announced as the first Brand Ambassador of the Revlon Brand outside of the United States. Thursday, 13 June reaffirmed that Bonang is the Queen of now! Moving on to larger and more exciting landscapes. “WOW! The moment I heard the news that I am the new Brand Ambassador of Revlon South Africa was one I will treasure for the rest of my life. I mean to be joining the ranks of my idols Halle, Olivia and Emma is just amazing”, exclaimed Bonang.
Hosted by the fabulous, fun and witty Anele Mdoda, the atmosphere at the Revlon Event was oozing with energy, festivity and excitement. It definitely was the place to be for all Bonang tweethearts. Draped in a red Gert Johan Coetzee number, Bonang stunned as she accepted the prestigious title. Queen B has yet again broken new grounds andfrontiers in South Africa and Southern Africa at large, with this new deal.
She is fierce, feisty, motivated and certainly a force to be reckoned. From accolades ranging from executive producer, host, presenter, Africa’s Forbes list, an array of magazine covers and beyond. It was just last month when the 25-year old television maven was listed as one of the Top 50 TrailBlazers under the age of 50 by New Africa Magazine, alongside the likes of Barack Obama, Charlize Theron and Khanyi Dhlomo.
Bonang Matheba now shares the glitzy spotlight with the likes of Hollywood actresses Halle Berry, Olivia Wilde and Emma Stone. The new Revlon Brand Ambassador said she was honoured to hear the news of her collaboration with the world-renowned brand. Joy, happiness and elation, these were the emotions displayed on Bonang’s face for all to see.
