Nike releases a new lightweight collection: Tech Hyperfuse

If you’re an athlete (professional or normal), you’ll know the importance of wearing something comfortable while you’re exercising or competing. You want something that is durable, something that will keep you dry and something that is light. I use the dryfit tops a lot for those very reasons and I’ve never had an issue. When I was working and snowboarding in Aspen, or when it’s cold out, I use my Helly Hansen thermal underwear a lot because it’s warm, it’s snug and it wicks moisture away from my body. So I highly recommend you spend some time looking for those sorts of products when you’re investing in such. Su14_NSW_Tech_Pack_Windrunner_M_A_03_original

Nike has just released its new range of Windrunner, Vest, and Ponchos in what they’re calling the Tech Hyperfuse collection. The collection uses the Hyperfuse technology that delivers a lightweight, breathable, and durable product. Here’s a little more from the Nike team on the new collection:

The Nike Tech Pack design approach begins by building everything from the inside out. Fused layers of material give dimension to the aesthetic, as well as provide a clean finish. Taped/bonded ripstop delivers both a lighter and more durable garment. The material is also engineered to allow air to move through it, increasing breathability and ventilation for the warmer months. The craft of the garment pushes colorful, transparent design. Its packable nature makes lightweight layering easy and convenient—the perfect solution for facing environmental changes during long days on the go. Nike Tech Pack is a new expression of style through Nike innovation.

The product is set to hit Nike stores around the globe on the 1st of May. This is the sort of product I’d take with me to joBerg2C this weekend. I’m heading off tomorrow… camping and all! It best be warm!
