SA Style Awards are back

The annual SA Style Awards are turning 20 next year… 20!!! How incredible? The prestigious awards not only honour some of the biggest names in the SA lifestyle and entertainment industries, but they’ve also served as a launchpad for many of them to expand their respective brands in the industry; be it as a restauranteur, an architect, a popular MC, or a successful entrepreneur who people and brands need to work with. In other words, it’s not just about how they look, but rather what they stand for, how they carry themselves in the industry and what they’re contributing to the industry.

In the build up to the twentieth anniversary next year, Jill Grogor and team have decided it’s time to ‘throwback’. Who doesn’t love a good throwback, especially when it comes to something like the SA Style Awards. The judges are respected in their own right, and so to choose 20 names of some of the icons that have made their mark on the industry is a job I’m really not envious of. Having said that, their list is incredible and tomorrow’s glitzy red carpet event will be one even Hollywood would be jealous of – if the sponsors are anything to go by. Check this out:

Loreal Luxe

Giorgio Armani

Hyde Park Corner

Tsogo Sun

Fox Box

Grey Goose

GM & Ahrens

Carlton Hair

Wings Group

Europa Art

Ashbourne & Southern Right

San Pellegrino & Acqua Panna

When brands like this associate themselves with such an event, you know it’s a respected event.

So who do you think the SA Style Award icons are?
