2011 MTV EMAs winners

Last night Belfast lit up to the sounds of some of the world’s leading music stars rolled into town for the annual MTV Europe Music Awards. I watched some of the red carpet action but I missed the show itself (it has been taped and I’ll catch up in the week). If you’re like me and you like to know who the big winners of the night were, read on for the full list: Continue reading “2011 MTV EMAs winners”

It’s #30SecondsToFriday

Tonight one of the world’s biggest rock groups will kick off their second South African tour. As opposed to last time, this time they’re headlining the tour and it’s going to be epic. Jozi it’s your chance tonight and tomorrow night it’s Cape Town’s chance. Well actually the Capetonians get a doubleheader tomorrow and Sunday. Lucky biatches.

So how are you getting #30SecondsToFriday? Name a few of your favourite songs, moments or anything. The song above is one of my favs. It’s called Hurricans and it features Kanye ‘Immaletchufinish’ West. Love it. If you missed the guys in SA last time, have a look at these clips below:

I’m hearing talk show host Chelsea Handler did a fantastic job hosting the awards. If you check out this clip, you’ll see Handler getting ready to go live with a whole host of famous names tapping her ass, wishing her good luck. Now what I love about this clip is the surprise appearance Lindsay Lohan makes at the end. If you’re watched Handler’s show on E! you’ll know she took the liberty to knock the fallen LiLo when she started serving her sentence. That seems to be a thing of the past now as the two ‘kiss and make up’ in this clip. Well funny, especially love how Handler chirps “Thanks Freckles” at the end of the insert. Love it! What were some of your highlights from the show?
