Calling all 5 to 11-year-olds, Jock 3D needs you

It’s one of the most celebrated South African stories around. Now the classic story by Sir Percy Fitzpatrick is being transformed into a 3D movie, due for release early next year. I was lucky enough to catch a few of the clips earlier this year and I also met Sir Tim Rice, the man behind the music in the film. If you don’t know who he is, check out his website for more.

So in celebration of this story, the producers are getting ordinary South Africans involved. How? Well they’re looking one child between the ages of 5 and 11 to play the voice of one of Jock’s brothers or sisters (puppy voice). There are two scenes that you can choose between. You can download the scripts from 94.7 Highveld Stereo’s website. From there you will need to:
1. Practise and rehearse
2. Dial 0862 947 947 where you can record your voice and all your particulars. Get your mom and dad or older brother or sister to help you here.

You can also email your recording through Make sure the quality is good though.

Good luck!
