Tonight another local version of a hit show makes its debut on our screens. It’s called The Great South African Bake Off and it premieres at 18:00 tonight on BBC Lifestyle. The Great South African Bake Off will embark on an exciting nationwide search to find and crown South Africaʼs best amateur baker.

I’m not so much a baker and so I’m not too bothered about this, if I’m honest. What I am excited about is the fact that

A. Productions like these create more job for our local production teams, which is great. It gives them the opportunity to add a franchise production, localised of course to their showreels, which isn’t bad at all.

B. I’m looking forward to seeing the hilarious and awesome Donovan Goliath and Ann Hirsch on the show. I think the addition of these two will be interesting to see, but also fun too. I’m interviewing them on my Cliff Central show at 11 am. Download the #CliffCentralApp now and tune in to The Buzz in due course 🙂
