Locnville to perform at Airtel Champions League Twenty20

In the midst of their first world tour, the twins that make up the electro-hop group Locnville will jet back into SA for not only Joburg Day this weekend but also at the official Airtel Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) opening concert. They’ll be opening for the hugely popular Enrique Iglesias, who is jetting in next week for the event. Speaking of which, the concert goes down on the 9th of September at Emmarentia Botanic Gardens.

Airtel CLT20 Governing Council member, Gerald Majola, said: “This is great news for the fans. Locnville have been playing to sell out audiences across the world, and we are delighted that they are part of the Airtel CLT20 opening concert.”

On hearing about the news, the duo said: “We remember watching the CLT20 tournament last year, wishing we were a part of it. And now we are, which is fantastic for us! This is a really great opportunity for us on the back of the incredible success that we are seeing from our European promotional activity”.

Today the temperature in Jozi will reach a maximum of 28 degrees. This is Spring. Love it. So with a venue like the Botanic Gardens and the likes Locnville and Enrique performing ahead of the 17 days of cricketing action, you really can’t miss out. Tickets are priced at R330 from Computicket
