Gallery: Foo Fighters live in Johannesburg, South Africa

American rockers, Foo Fighters wrapped up their first (at long last) tour to South Africa. They played to a very hyped-up, energetic crowd at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg. For over three hours, the band rocked out, playing some of their new material, but balancing that with the classics that have made them who they are today. They were supported by SA band, BLK JKS as well as the Kaiser Chiefs.

Did you go to the concert? What did you enjoy the most?

In less than two days we’ll know which bands will be apart of the line up for this year’s Coca Cola Zero Fest. You can listen to the line up announcement on national station 5FM. The organisers have some work on their hands, especially since last year’s list was fantastic. Check it out; Good Charlotte, Muse, Korn, 30 Seconds to Mars, Kaiser Chiefs, The Parlotones, Prime Circle, Lonehill Estate and AKing. DAMN!!! See highlights here, here and here

So we’ll know who will be rocking SA on Wednesday, but for now I want to know from you… who would you like to see at this year’s festival? I’d dig to see The Killers, Kings of Leon, Paramore, Coldplay(although they may not fit the profile for this fest),The Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, AC/DC, Evolver, AKing again, Zebra and Giraffe, Jax Panik and Seether. That would make me happy. Your thoughts? For more on this year’s Coca Cola Zero Fest check back in here or visit the website
