Lady Antebellum to tour SA in October

It’s a quarter after 8, I’m a little excited to tell you nowwwwww….. Lady Antebellum will jet out to South Africa for their first tour to the country. The Grammy winners will be performing in Cape Town and in Johannesburg this October. Dates are as follows:

Cape Town – 13th October 2017 at the Grand Arena, GrandWest. Ticket Price:  R490 – R915

Johannesburg – 15th October 2017 at the Ticketpro Dome. Ticket Price:  R535 – R995

Tickets go on sale this Friday, 3 March 2017 at 9am from Big Concerts

2011 American Music Awards – full list of winners

Who watched the American Music Awards this morning/ last night depending on where you find yourselves in the world? I’m usually one of the few South Africans who is up blogging, tweeting and watching the live broadcast in the wee hours of the morning, but this weekend didn’t allow that to happen this time around *coughs*. 2011 Grammy Nominees Album


The 17th edition of the Grammy Nominees album is here ladies and gents and this album will most certainly be a goodie. The Recording Academy has partnered with Jive Records for the 19-track album, which will be available from the 25th and according to the President of Recording Academy Neil Portnow, it’s one of the best he’s seen, “The exceptional mix of recordings contained on this preeminent compilation provides an incredible playlist from some of this year’s remarkable and talented GRAMMY nominees. With 19 diverse selections, the nominees album offers quality recordings for all music fans.”
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the album will benefit the MusiCares® Foundation and the GRAMMY Foundation® — two charitable organizations established by The Recording Academy.
